Miele TexLab PWM 906
Dimensional & appearance change after home laundering
Dimensional & appearance change after home laundering tests are designed to determine the dimensional stability (shrinkage or growth) in woven and knit fabrics when subjected to repeated home laundering and/or commercial drycleaning procedures. The test specimens are measured and/or marked, then washed and dried according to the provided care instructions. After testing, each specimen is recondtioned, remeasured and percent shrinkage or growth in length and width is calculated and reported. The purpose of this test is to confirm when the fabric/garment is laundered and/or drycleaned by instructions of the label, it will perform to the consumer;s satisfaction,… it will not shrink or strech out of shape, whick would affect the comfort and appearance of the garment.
