Color fastness to Perspiration

Color fastness to Perspiration test is designed to evaluate the colorfastness property of textiles to the effect of perspiration. A Cpecimen of colored textile and multifiber test fabric are wet out in a simulated perspiration solution, subject to a fixed mechanical pressure and allowed to dry slowly at a slightly elevated temperrature. The change in color of the specimen and staining of the attached multifiber test fabric are eveluated against the Grey Scale of Color Change and Staining. The purpose of this test is to ensure the colored textiles do no excessively stain clothing or change color under the presence of perspiration in that normal course of use by the custome
