Multifbre DW

Features of Multifbre

Multifibre Fabric (also known as Six-Component Fabric) is a specially woven fabric composed of multiple fiber types within the same sample. Each fiber has distinct chemical and physical properties, allowing for a simultaneous assessment of how dyes, chemicals, or processing conditions affect each fiber type.

James Heal Multifibre DW is widely used in color fastness testing for washing, rubbing, water, sweat, light, chlorine, etc., helping to determine whether dyes adhere well to different fiber types.

Additionally, multifiber fabric is utilized to evaluate the effects of detergents, solvents, and fabric treatment agents on individual fibers. It also plays a crucial role in R&D by supporting the development of more durable dyeing formulas and optimizing textile processing methods for various fabric types.
